I married my high school sweetheart in 2014! We have a son named Lukas and bought our home here in Belle Plaine in 2012. I grew up in Cottage Grove and moved to Belle Plaine in 2009.

I have my Associate Degree in Child Development for Infant and Toddlers and have been in the teaching field for 8+ wonderful years now!

My free time is spent watching my child grow up and making memories with family and friends. I also like to shop, make photo books, and travel! I have done 2 road trips to Florida, 2 cruises to the Bahamas, drove to Vegas, and this summer taking our 2nd family vacation to Wisconsin Dells!

I enjoy being a teacher because I love knowing I help children develop and learn new things. I started working in child care in South Dakota at 18 years old just for a job but it was there I found my career! In 2015 I was fortunate to have become Assistant Director of the Academy; which was my long term goal in this field! I love being the Assistant Director because now I get to see all the kids every day and it makes me feel amazing when they get so excited to see me! We have great employees who really work together as a team; which is fantastic!
